MotoDash Privacy Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
MotoDash is provided by BRB Apps. For privacy questions or requests, contact brbapps2025@gmail.com.
Information used by the app
MotoDash uses location permission to show your position and GPS speed, record rides, preview a route to a destination, update that route, and save a parking location when you choose to do so. The app can continue receiving location updates during an active ride in the background. You can change location permission in iPhone Settings, but location features will then be limited.
Your motorcycle profile, ride route points and statistics, saved parking, fuel and maintenance entries, notes, and photos you add are stored on your device. The app does not automatically upload your saved ride history, photos, or motorcycle records to a MotoDash account. You can export a data file or share a ride card when you choose; these actions may reveal locations or photos to the destination you select. The share card offers a setting to hide the start and finish areas of a route, but landmarks in photos can still identify a place. An exported data file contains the full saved data and does not apply the card's route-hiding setting. Device backups are controlled by your iPhone and Apple account settings.
Destination searches, map display, and route calculations use Apple's MapKit services. Information needed to answer those requests, such as a search term, selected destination, or route origin, may be processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple handles in-app subscription purchases and payment information; MotoDash checks verified purchase status to provide access. We do not receive your full payment card number. See Apple's App Store privacy information for Apple's handling of purchases.
Access experiment and diagnostics
When MotoDash's access experiment service is enabled, the app uses a device-local installation identifier to keep a person's assigned access option stable. It may send that identifier, the assigned option, app version and build, event names and times, and associated ride or subscription product identifiers to the MotoDash experiment service. Those events can include onboarding, paywall, ride-save, purchase, and restore actions. They do not include GPS coordinates, route geometry, addresses, photos, notes, or fuel and maintenance details. Verified App Store transaction information, including renewals and refunds, may be linked to the installation identifier to measure the experiment and honor purchases. The experiment service is not active until it is configured for a released version.
We use this limited information to operate access rules, detect failures, understand whether riders can complete rides, and compare subscription outcomes. We do not use it for advertising or sell it to data brokers. Access to experiment and transaction records is limited to people operating MotoDash and service providers needed to host and secure those records. Data is kept for as long as needed for these purposes and applicable accounting or legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified.
Your choices and contact
You can decline location access, stop a ride, choose whether to add photos and notes, and decide whether to export or share data. You can review and manage subscriptions in your Apple account. To request information about or deletion of experiment data, email brbapps2025@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to identify the installation or purchase without sending a password or payment card number. We may need to retain records required for accounting or legal obligations.
This policy may change as MotoDash's features and services change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
